Construction Principle of Sludge Dewatering Machine with Overlay Screw for Environmental Protection Production in Lifeng, Zhejiang Province

1. The main body of the dewatering machine is a filter device formed by a fixed ring and a swimming ring overlapping with each other. The helical shaft runs through the filter device. The front section is a concentration section, and the rear section is a dewatering section.

2. The filter gap formed between the fixed ring and the swimming ring and the pitch of the spiral shaft gradually decrease from the concentrating part to the dewatering part.

3. The rotation of the screw shaft promotes the sludge to be transported from the concentrated part to the dewatering part, at the same time, it continuously drives the moving ring to clean the filter slots and prevent blockage.

4. Sludge is transported to the dewatering part after gravity concentration in the concentration part. With the gradual decrease of filter slot and pitch and the blocking effect of back pressure plate, great internal pressure is generated, and the volume is shrinking continuously, so as to achieve the purpose of full dewatering.

Dehydration principle

After gravity concentration, the sludge is transported to the dewatering part. In the process of advancing, with the gradual decrease of filter gap and pitch, and the blocking effect of back pressure plate, internal pressure is generated, and the volume is continuously reduced, so as to achieve the purpose of full dewatering.

Explanation of conventional sludge treatment process

1. Through flocculation experiment, the type and proportion of flocculants matched were determined. If two kinds of flocculants are needed to flocculate effectively, it is suggested to choose a dehydrator with two flocculant mixing tanks. Stirring device should be set up in the sludge tank. Before and during the operation of the dewaterer, the sludge should be continuously stirred to ensure the relative stability of sludge concentration.

2. Before running the dehydrator, the flocculant solution should be prepared by foaming device. The normal dilution ratio of macromolecule flocculant is 500-1000 times. Sludge is pumped through sludge conveyor, flocculant soaked is added into the flocculation mixing tank at the same time according to the corresponding proportion, and alum is fully mixed by mixer to form alum flower. The gravity concentration is carried out in the concentration section, and the filtrate is discharged from the filter slot of the concentration section. The filtrate has low solid content and is directly returned to the raw water tank.

3. The concentrated sludge moves forward along the spiral axis and dehydrates sufficiently in the dewatering part under various combined forces. The filtrate in the dewatering section has a high solid content and can be refluxed to the flocculation mixing tank to dehydrate again.

4. After dehydration, the mud cake is discharged from the mud cake outlet and sent directly or through an axle-less screw conveyor to the mud truck for reuse.
